Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026 By downloading or using Pathya, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you disagree with any part, you may not use the app.
1. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of everything you write and publish on Pathya. By publishing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform.
- You can remove your content at any time by deleting it.
- We will never claim ownership of your creative work.
- Content you delete is removed from public view immediately.
2. Acceptable Use
Pathya is a community built on respect for stories and storytellers. You agree not to:
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, or harassing.
- Upload content that infringes on another person's copyright.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Use the platform for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the service.
3. Content Warnings
Authors are responsible for applying appropriate maturity ratings and content warnings to their work. Pathya reserves the right to re-classify or remove content that is mislabelled or violates community standards.
4. Account Responsibility
Your account is yours — keep it safe. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Use a strong, unique password.
- Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
5. Service Availability
Pathya is provided "as is". We work hard to keep the platform running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings tab.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pathya after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
