Terms of Service

✍️ 1. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of everything you write and publish on Pathya. By publishing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform.

• You can remove your content at any time by deleting it.
• We will never claim ownership of your creative work.
• Content you delete is removed from public view immediately.

🚫 2. Acceptable Use

Pathya is a community built on respect for stories and storytellers. You agree not to:

• Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, or harassing.
• Upload content that infringes on another person's copyright.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the platform for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the service.

⚠️ 3. Content Warnings

Authors are responsible for applying appropriate maturity ratings and content warnings to their work. Pathya reserves the right to re-classify or remove content that is mislabelled or violates community standards.

🔐 4. Account Responsibility

Your account is yours — keep it safe. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Use a strong, unique password.
• Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

🛠️ 5. Service Availability

Pathya is provided "as is". We work hard to keep the platform running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.

⚖️ 6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings tab.

📋 7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pathya after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
